People’s Daily Published John Scanlon Gave a Keynote Lecture at the CBCGDF Biodiversity Conservation and Green Museum

Mr. John E Scanlan AO, Executive President of the International Council of Environmental Law (ICEL), former Secretary General of the United Nations Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), gave the keynote lecture, with the title of  why biodiversity is important for all of us at the Biodiversity Conservation and Green Museum of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF).

During this summer vacation, Mr. Scanlan brought his family to China. On the eve of World Elephant Day, he visited CBCGDF and inaugurated the newly built Biodiversity Conservation and Green Museum. At the same time, he also gave a special lecture for the visitors.


The wonderful lecture content stimulated the audience's strong interest in biodiversity conservation, especially the children.
