Zhou Jinfeng Investigates Shanghai Yingwuzhou Ecological Wetland

On July 24, 2023, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), went to investigate Shanghai Yingwuzhou Ecological Wetland.

Yingwuzhou Ecological Wetland is located at the Jinshan City Beach in Shanghai and the Shanghai Petrochemical Cove, with a total area of 232,000 square meters. As the construction result of the "Comprehensive Improvement and Restoration Project on the West Side of Jinshan City Beach in Shanghai", it includes 4 core ecological function areas: purification display area, salt marsh restoration area, ecological corridor slow flow area, and natural wetland bird introduction area. It is an urban coastal wetland with functions such as ecological restoration and popular science recreation.
