CBCGDF Collecting Opinions on “Management Measures for GHG Voluntary Emission Reduction Transaction (Trial)” | CBCGDF Legal Work Committee

 In order to implement the national strategy of actively responding to climate change, promote the realization of the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, encourage a wider range of industries and enterprises to participate in greenhouse gas emission reduction, further regulate greenhouse gas voluntary emission reduction transaction and related activities, coordinate national carbon emission reduction resources, and regulate voluntary emission reduction transaction and related activities, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, together with the State Administration for Market Regulation, have issued “Management Measures for GHG Voluntary Emission Reduction Transaction (Trial)(draft for comments)” and are soliciting suggestions from the public.

In order to implement the "dual carbon" action deployment and promote green and low-carbon development, the Legal Work Committee of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will organize experts to research and discuss on the Management Measures, and welcome valuable comments and suggestions from all walks of life with the deadline on July 28, 2023.
