The Climate Change Working Group of CBCGDF Submitted a Nomination List of Participants to UNFCCC COP 28

From November 30 to December 12, 2023, the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will be held in Dubai World Expo City. This grand event will gather representatives from various countries to jointly discuss the urgent issues of addressing global climate change.

As an observer to UNFCCC and national first-class society dedicated to green development in China, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will organize a delegation and actively participate in the discussions and exchanges at the conference, as well as contribute to the mitigation and adaptation of climate change with the wisdom and solutions of civil society in China.

To ensure smooth participation in the conference, the Climate Change Working Group of the Green Society has been carefully preparing and organizing registration matters recently. On July 31, 2023, the preliminary nomination list has been submitted to the ORS (online registration system).

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few.
