CBCGDF Deputy Secretary-General Met Portuguese Ambassador Paulo Jorge Pereira do Nascimento


On July 21, 2023, the Deputy Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) had a delightful exchange with Portuguese Ambassador Paulo Jorge Pereira do Nascimento at an event in Beijing.


During the conversation, the CBCGDF representative shared the Beijing-based scientific society's efforts in biodiversity conservation and green development, expressing gratitude for the invitation extended by the Portuguese Embassy last year to participate in the United Nations Ocean Conference held in Portugal. Paulo Jorge Pereira do Nascimento expressed appreciation for the participation of the Chinese social organization and congratulated CBCGDF on successfully hosting a side event during the Ocean Conference in Lisbon. The two parties engaged in discussions on pressing global environmental governance issues.
