The "Water Puddle" and Nature-based Water Purification in Yingwuzhou Ecological Wetland | ZHOU Jinfeng's Investigation Record 2

On July 24, 2023, Dr. ZHOU Jifeng, secretary general of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), noticed a water puddle during his investigation in the Yingwuzhou Ecological Wetland area, Shanghai, as shown in below pictures. No pesticides were applied, resulting in weeds.

We can see that this is the use of ecosystems to clean up agricultural water discharges. It is a nature-based solution that "nurtures the life in the way of nature."
