CBCGDF Deputy Secretary-General Addresses the International Green Zero - Carbon Festival 2023

On June 15th, the 2nd International Green Zero-Carbon Festival & ESG Leaders Summit was held in Beijing with the theme “ Towards the Road to Carbon Neutrality.” Mr. Qing XIAO, deputy secretary-general of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation(CBCGDF), attended the meeting and gave an opening speech on the theme of "Practicing the ESG concept is a necessary pathway to promote the realization of the dual carbon goal".

Solving the global climate crisis, food crisis, energy crisis, biodiversity crisis, etc. is a problem that everyone and every company must think about. Human society has begun to transform from industrial civilization to ecological civilization, and the profit of an enterprise will no longer be the only determinant of whether the enterprise can develop well. Practicing the concept of ESG and promoting green transformation is a must-answer question for every enterprise.
