World Migratory Bird Day: Spreading Bird Protection Culture | CBCGDF University Student Development Working Committee

On October 12, 2024, the Changde He Xiaoqing Action Center and the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) University Student Development Working Committee team held a World Migratory Bird Day lecture with the theme of "Protecting Migratory Birds, Everyone is Responsible" at Hunan University of Arts and Sciences.

  





Birds play an irreplaceable and key role in maintaining ecological balance, controlling pests and spreading pollen and seeds. At the event, volunteers conducted in-depth and detailed bird-loving and bird-protecting publicity from four aspects: the origin of World Migratory Bird Day, the necessity of protecting birds, the specific methods of protecting birds, and the importance of bird protection actions. Through this lecture, the students not only had a more comprehensive understanding of the species of rare birds, but also greatly enhanced their sense of responsibility and mission to love and protect birds.
