ZHOU Jinfeng Meets with Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, Director-general and Senior Official for ASEAN Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia

From March 25 to 28, 2025, the highly anticipated Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 was held in Boao, Hainan.   

Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, President of the World Academy of Sustainable Development, Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, and Founding Chairman of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to attend the conference.

During the event, ZHOU Jinfeng met with Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, Director-general and Senior Official for ASEAN Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.  

The Boao Forum for Asia is an international organization headquartered in China, jointly initiated by 29 member countries. It holds its annual conference in Boao, Hainan, every year. The 2025 BFA Annual Conference spanned four days and featured over 50 engaging events, attracting approximately 2,000 representatives from more than 60 countries and regions. Participants gathered to discuss strategies and measures for strengthening cooperation and pursuing shared development, aiming to inject new momentum into economic growth and jointly create a brighter future for Asia.

The world’s ocean ecosystems are facing mounting threats—climate change, marine pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction due to human activities, to name a few. These pressures are particularly dangerous for marine mammals like cetaceans, whose survival hinges on healthy habitats and stable populations.
