CBCGDF Sharing the News from CBD about Extension the deadline about Nomination of experts for the ad hoc scientific and technical advisory group for the preparation of the global report

 China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development FoundationCBCGDFis an observer of the United Nations Convention on Biological DiversityCBDand has long been actively participating in its activities, and often help sharing the news from CBD.

 


Further to notification 2025-024, CBD  thanks Parties and observers that have nominated experts to serve as members of the Ad Hoc Scientific and Technical Advisory Group for the preparation of the global report on collective progress in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, established by the Conference of the Parties in its decision 16/32.

 

 

CBD encourages others to do so as soon as possible and hereby extends the deadline for the submission of nominations to 11 April 2025. Nominations should be submitted through an official letter addressed to the Executive Secretary and signed by the National Focal Point or the head of organization, as appropriate, and should be sent as a scanned attachment to secretariat@cbd.int. Please provide the name and full contact details of the nominee(s), a curriculum vitae that demonstrates their expertise, with particular attention to the elements identified in paragraph 6 of Annex III of decision 16/32, and the interest disclosure form available at: https://www.cbd.int/doc/forms/conflict-interest-form-en.pdf. Parties and observers may nominate more than one expert.
