The French-Chinese Ecological Dialogue on New Energy and Biodiversity Will Be Held on April 10

The French-Chinese Ecological Dialogue Webinar will be held on April 10, 2025 by the World Academy of Sustainable Development (WAOSD), the Association TESFEC and DynamiBalance. The theme of the conference is: "New Energy and Biodiversity: Policy Innovation and Technological Synergy".

Climate change and biodiversity loss are the dual challenges facing the world today, and the development of clean energy is a key way to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality. However, the implementation of new energy projects may also have potential impacts on ecosystems and biodiversity. How to achieve the goal of ecological protection while promoting energy transformation has become a core issue of common concern between China and France.

China and France have rich practical experience in the fields of clean energy development and ecological protection, and the two sides are highly complementary in terms of policies and regulations, technological innovation and international cooperation. Following the successful last China-France Ecological Dialogue on Responsible Tourism, this conference will continue to focus on themes of global concern, explore how to protect and promote biodiversity in clean energy development through policy innovation and technological synergy, and provide reference and inspiration for international cooperation.
