The Disappearance of "Deer Calling in the Wild" and One Health | Science and Technology Ethics in New Civilization

Recently, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, secretary-general of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), gave a lecture on "One Health and New Civilization-Health: Climate , Biodiversity Crisis".

Recently, I did research in Wenzhou and found that the land there has been extensively developed. It is said that when Wenzhou city was built, there were white deer. Now due to the large increase in population and construction, deer are rarely seen.

The changes in Wenzhou are actually a microcosm of the development and changes of the earth. There are now 8 billion people on the earth, and we live on it, which truly embodies the great achievements of industrial civilization, but in today's 'heyday of industrial civilization', this'greatness' is turning into huge destructive forces .

He believes that human beings should not only consider their own health, but also the health of animals and the environment, which is the same health. Doing a good job in One Health will have a huge impact on the future of mankind.
