CBCGDF Believes that Restricting and Banning Plastic Requires the Active Participation of the Society

On May 10, 2023, the Ministry of Commerce announced the Administrative Measures for the Use and Reporting of Disposable Plastic Products by Operators in the Commercial Field.

China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) recognized the pollution hazards of plastics to the environment as early as 2007. In recent years, it has continued to restrict and ban plastics in the following ways:

  • Actively provide suggestions on legislation and policies to relevant units.
  • Promoting plastic restriction and banning work through comprehensive use of public welfare activities, popular science publicity, and media reports.

With the release of the "Administrative Measures",  CBCGDF is very pleased to see that the use of disposable plastic products and plastic packaging in various fields has been restricted.CBCGDF once again appeals to everyone to further study and understand the Administrative Measures, learn the specific requirements for plastic restriction and ban, and contribute to the Earth for All.
