CBCGDF Learns from the Speech of China-Central Asia Summit | 2023 Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop (No. 65)

 On May 26, 2023, the International Department, the “Reduce and Pick-up” Plastics Working Group, and the "Ocean & Wetlands" Team of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), jointly held the "Global Environmental Governance Capacity Building Workshop (No. 65)". This workshop mainly discussed the following topics:

  • Learning from the spirit of the leader's speech on the China-Central Asia Summit. It is decided in the meeting to deploy case studies on the "Central Asia Sustainable Development Frontiers".
  • Summarizing the project progress and data of foreign development cooperation assistance in 2021 and 2022.
  • After the "Third Symposium on the Conservation and Benefit Sharing of Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture", experience summarization, reflection and analysis were conducted, and suggestions for improvement were discussed. Among them, Mr. Zhang, the person in charge of the live broadcast, mentioned that about 2,000 people watched the live broadcast online on the day the seminar was held on May 23. Today, three days later, the number has tripled.
