CBCGDF Submitted 21 Suggestions on the "Implementation Measures for the Sichuan Province Wildlife Protection Law (Revised Draft for Comments)”

Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice issued a notice soliciting public opinions on the "Implementation Measures for the Wildlife Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft for Comments)".

The main content of the revision includes: refining the responsibilities of local governments and departments, adjusting the protection objects, strengthening science popularization and publicity, highlighting habitats protection, highlighting wildlife reception and rescue, strengthening prevention and control of wildlife hazards, strengthening hunting management, highlighting birds protection, connecting relevant regulations on biosafety, strengthening artificial breeding management, and strengthening management of operation and utilization.

The Legal Work Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation CBCGDF) attached great importance to this issue, and after careful study, submitted 21 suggestions to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice.
